HOKKAIDO BEER GARDEN

We went at 7pm and the entire restaurant was deserted, but they told us we needed a reservation because they were fully booked. We believed them and asked when the next availability was and she said maybe 9pm so we told her we'd be back since our hotel was just across the street. When we went back t...he restaurant was still empty and we started to get the vibe that they just didn't want us there. We opted for the ala carte menu because we weren't hungry enough for all you can eat, but the service was so slow that we were extremely grateful that we did that. They sat us, took our drink order, then our food order and NEVER came back. We had to go up to the bar to get another drink and had to go find a server to order more meat. But as soon as we put the last piece of meat in our mouth, they brought our bill. What if we wanted more food, or another drink?! We told them we wanted another drink and they immediately brought our updated bill and told us to pay up in the front. I've never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. I don't know if it's because we were tourists, but the restaurant was empty so I would think they'd appreciate the business. The only good thing about our meal was the food was good. But I would not ever return or ever recommend this place to eat because of the horrible service.

A truly fantastic dining pleasure, excellent service from all the staff especially the young lady serving our needs, beer and sake glasses were never empty. The food was delicious, plentiful, very fresh. The prices were very reasonable at just under 6000yen per person, this included all you can eat... and drink in 120 minutes, when we first arrived I thought we’d probably feel hungry and thirsty but that was certainly not the case, I lost track of time for while during this feast and realised that it wasn’t even an hour and now I was struggling, we only lasted 90 minutes and had to call it as I was going to explode. If you travel to Sapporo I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, there are plenty of Genghis’ Khan restaurants around but they either don’t include seafood, or it’s only a beer drink option or the don’t take credit cards or the time limit is much less. All in all this is the best value for money.

Like the lamb and beer so much. The beer is very fresh and the taste is refreshing. Easy access by loop bus or taxi from Sapporo station

Just loved the Beer Garden. Do it yourself BBQ Lamb and Top Class Sapporo Beer made for a marvellous dining Experience.
