“Perfect restaurant for our last night in Osaka”
Perfect restaurant for our last night in Osaka. We were going around Dotombori looking for a good restaurant. Unfortunately, all the good restaurants were full and only accepted reservations. We just accidentally saw this restaurant and noticed that no one was inside because it was already 1030p...m. I'm glad they still accepted us, and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The steak was really great and the highligtof the evening. Just melts in your mouth. The chef was really nice and prepared a good show for us. It's a really nice restaurant if you want quality.

“Totally overpriced & underwhelming”
We went there on our first night in Osaka on Concierge recommendation fromSwissotel. It was almost empty. We ordered heavily marbled meats, which were around17,000 JPY each and went for the set meal. The meat was good but not excellent, and accompanying vegetables were a slice of carrot, a block of ...potato and one snow pea pod each fried on the hotplate. Then followed was a fried rice course which could only be described as drab and tasteless.My wife was then offered some rare,pale yolked fried egg to go atop of the rice, not realising that we would be charged ? circa 5000 JPY for it. The matcha ice-cream a the end was the best. We only drank beer and 2 glasses of chardonnay , and for 3 the bill came to 90,000JPY ( no typo!)

“Hidden gem on the 2nd floor”
Excellent food (I am sure they use only the very best quality they can find) , prepared in front of you by your personal chef ! It will be hard to find better beef anywhere in the world than the one I had at this place ! And the bill : well , just pay it and don't think about it any more , or you wi...ll get a headache , because this place is expensive...

“Recommended by Swissotel --reasonable priced for a delicious teppanyaki dinner”
The restaurant is pretty near our hotel. When we saw Brand-off, it is around the corner. Hotel helped us to make a reservation. We got 2 seats on the grill table. I picked the seafood set (8,800 yen before tax) and my friend a steak set (11,000 yen). My set consists of appetizers, teppanyaki vegetab...les, salad, garlic toast, scallop, fish and cuttlefish. The dinner finished with fried rice and dessert. The food was delicious. The staff and chef served and cooked at our pace. Love the taste and atmosphere there.

“Not cheap but a nice experience.”
It's a bit hard to find, we we walking in the street and in the mood for steak. It's in a small corner with an elevator to the second floor. Upon arrival we took our seats on the hotplate and it seems to be a rather trendy place looking on the other guests. The menu is pretty basic varying sets in ...price and a number of side dishes. We started off with a Dom Perignon 2004 (32.000 yen) and then the rest of the menu. I've to say, I kind of expected a higher level of attention to detail but on the other hand, it was all very very tasty. The steak especially was very good. In between we took a few extra's, foie gras on toast was great. Unfortunately they had no lobster so we went for a couple of gamba's. The steak itself, as I said was amazing. Unfortunately I have no idea what we had as well we picked out some extra but every bite was just delicious. We finished off with a bottle of Rindo, while I have no idea about the wine itself it did taste great (rating on Vivino was also very good). They do have some other wine stocked, mostly rather unknown but also Opus One as well premier Margaux. The Margaux was crazy priced though. Would I come back, well we walked out with a 90.000 yen bill (650 euro) for 2 people. Which is high but then considering we had some expensive alcohol it is ok. If I"m again in Osaka for a longer time I'm sure I'll pass by.
