“Superb Kobe beef at Steak & Wine OXON”

We had an amazing Kobe beef meal at Steak & Wine OXON (OXON when spelled out in English, and オクソン in katakana). Priced at 21,000 yen per person not including beverages, it was rather expensive, but it was worth every last yen. We enjoyed delightful appetizers and desserts (the latter being served in... a separate lounge), but the highlight and defining part of the experience was the finest and most exquisite meat I have ever tasted.

Came back to this restaurant a second time trying to confirm our first wonderful experience 9 years ago. This time didn't disappoint us. Food and service were outstanding. We had Kobe beef teppanyaki style and it was exceptional. After dinner, the owner invited us down to the basement where we were ...served desserts in a beautiful living room with fireplace. This will be our go to next time we visit Osaka.

“A must do...”

Yes I'm a foodie and fussy. However it was nice to go to a place chosen by someone else. We went on a Monday night after 20:30 and this place luckily took us in. Three of us dined at the main table where the chef was cooking the food, the whole theatre of it was amazing. We. Opted for the kobe dinn...er which was approximately £150 per person excluding drinks. We had an hors d'oeuvre of sashimi, followed by a beef consumme. Whilst we are having this the chef is lovingly preparing our kobe beef cooking it with perfection. Before the beef you are given the salad. The the beef is sliced with various condiments although nice but unnecessary when the beef is that flavourful. It was the texture of butter but full of beef flavour. I found it odd that you're given rice after the meal. It's lovely that the coffee and desserts are finished off in the lovely downstairs gentleman club style lounge. House wine was great too. It was a fantastic experience one of definitely recommend when in the region, a lovely treat.

Found this restaurant via one of the "Top 5"-list of where to eat Kobe beef. Walked in, were welcomed by a nice amd english speaking lady, made a reservation for the same night and came back after a few hours. The food here is amazing, particularly the kobe beef. We never had such an amazing and we...ll cooked steak. The Teppanyaki chef gave us several options and helped us to choose the right one, but also gave a taste away of his own preferred way of preparing the kobe beef. The whole meal just was an amazing experience which we'll never forget. Afterwards we were asked downstairs to have dessert and coffee, in a very nice looking Captain's room, think like Titanic and you'll imagine what it's like. Really really recommend this place if you want to have the awesome Kobe beef prepared in the perfect way!

Came here for lunch with two friend while traveling across Asia for some high quality Japanese beef. Not only did we get that we had an unforgettable dining experience. We went for the lunch special with comes with a squid appetizer, miso soup, rice, veggies and steak for 2700 yen (25 dollars). Al...l of the food was amazing and it is all cooked a grill at the table in front of your eyes so you can see the care that goes into its preparation. After you finish eating the main course you are asked to retire to a room downstairs which is reminiscent of what I expect a lounge in the titanic looked. Leather couches, wood tables and a fire place. Here desert and coffee is served while you relax. For the price I've never had better service and we all showed up in sneakers and t-shirts. A must visit.
