“Quiet, relaxing place for dinner.”
Lovely restaurant, and while it's in Gion, it was fairly uncrowded. We had a delicious, relaxing meal. It was suggested by our hotel concierge; we would never have found it on our own! Highly recommended.

This restaurant is excellent! The menu has everything: fish, meat and vegetables, all cooked in many ways. The staff was very nice and they spoke English. The restaurant is quiet, peaceful and hidden from tourists. The food was excellent.

“Not recommended at all!!! A big disappointment while it’s hard to be disappointed from restaurants in Kyoto. Bad service”
Terrible food and bad service. I ordered something without sauce and received it with. I couldn’t eat it and they did not change.

“Average restaurant with above average prices”
Average restaurant with above average prices. Average food, really poor quality salmon, but otherwise everything was pretty good. The waitresses upstairs were polite, attentive and kind.

“Good food but poor service and no atmosphere”
Food ok but they put all non Japanese upstairs where there is no atmosphere and the service is very poor. Food arrived very late , in fact one dish was so late we refused to pay for it
