“Unbelievable ”
The shabu suki all you can eat was unbelievable. We ordered the second highest tier of beef with Yamagatu? pork and it was nominally priced. Great deal all around. They brought new meat out within seconds of us requesting it, so they were in no way trying to short change our all you can eat time. ... The drinks were 480 yen and definitely not watered down. We got hammered and full and it was all delicious. Would not change a thing. The service was fantastic too, one of the best parts of the meal was how helpful everyone was. Would definitely return.

“Amazing restaurant experience”
Very traditional shabu shabu food should be eaten like this! We got our own cabinet/private space. Boiling the veggies and food ourselves is so much fun! Very good service and tasty food. Highly recommended! Many locals and a few tourists only. On weekends its better to make a reservation.

“Shabu Shabu ”
We just walked in around 6.30 on a Friday evening and got a table for 2. Lovely traditional style restaurant with tables separated by curtains, and some private Japanese style rooms too. The waitress spoke enough English to be understood, and the menu was also in English. She explained what we nee...ded to do, and that we could also adjust the temperature under the tables. We ordered the domestic beef Shabu Shabu ‘all you can eat’. Really good quality beef, given it was the lowest price point; plenty of fresh veg and noodles too. Never any delay in asking for more drinks/food, and there was a buzzer on the table to indicate when you wanted attention. Good fun, and tasty - would recommend!

“Great sukiyaki”
We asked the hotel to reserve ahead for a Saturday evening which was just as well as it was wall to wall with customers. We decided on a mid range beef sukiyaki and beer. It was great fun cooking the vegetables and beef in the soy based sauce. The more we cooked the better we got the hang of timin...g. The beef really only needed a minute or two. We completed the meal with a small desert each and left the restaurant full. Lovely staff here with good command of English. We had a great time.
