“Excellent dining experience”
Having a meal here is a holistic experience. As you enter the main entrance, you do feel a sense of history about this place. (long distinguished sake manufacturing history) The garden is serene and with all the big trees around, you just feel like meditating here. It is subtle and peaceful. The i...nterior of the restaurant was traditionally built and diners are able to enjoy the view of the garden. Food is fresh and meticulously prepared. Above everything else, it is very delicious, Serving staffs were outstanding. Since I was there celebrating my birthday, it was very nice of them to offer me a complimentary bottle of their sake. A taxi was called and paid for by Sakabayashi to my intended destination after my meal. Definitely one of the most unforgettable, memorable dining experience in Japan. Verdict? This is the place to dine for sure when you are in Kobe area. Make it happen.

“Excellent Meal”
Brought here by some Japanese friend some time ago. This time visited again by driving ourselves and is located not far away from Sannomiya. There is a liquor store selling sake next door, which belong to the same group. The internal is a nice design unlike normal restaurant. We ordered a simple so...ba with tempura, and soba with yuba in warm soup. Both are excellent in taste. The sun shine came through the window, making it a perfect environment for a good meal.

“Simply wonderful place to go ”
We went here to visit a sake brewery and have lunch we go so much more we had a wonderful visit to a high quality brewery, then an amazing lunch so classy and a very reasonable price. We left with several bottles of sake and a by big smile. Don't hesitate to go wonderful experience

“Simply wonderful kaiseki experience.”
Every time I come to Japan there are a few dining experiences that stand out. This was one of them. The menu was excellent, the food flavorful and beautifully prepared. The sake selection was very good. I went with my Japanese wife's family and everyone enjoyed the experience very much. This was a 1...0 on all accounts.

“Excellent service, atmosphere and sake too!”
Lovely setting, entering the restaurant through a small garden. A lovely, quaint, traditional styled and quite old building. I'm vegetarian and sometimes struggle finding good food but this was no problem here. Excellent food - flavour and quality, and in the end too much to eat. Being part of the F...ukuju Brewery, they have a good selection of sakes available. Can definitely recommend this restaurant, a fantastic experience!
