“Nice dinner - English Menus - more like a Tapas place”
We enjoyed our dinner here while in Kyoto and are glad we made reservations ahead of time as the space is not large. We enjoyed ordering a la carte from an English/Japanese menu and they gave a great saki pour. Gyoza was enjoyed by all and although it says "ginger" it was not strong on the ginger ...taste. The avocado mayo tuna salad was enjoyed (but tuna is raw) and would recommend ordering it along with some rice as it would be nice mixed together. Tempura was nicely prepared. Wagyu rice bowl nicely prepared and a larger helping.

“An Absolute Gem for Fish Lovers”
Incredible meal. The Mei oysters were fresh and creamy, the urchin with roe was rich and the sashimi tuna and scallop were some of the best I’ve ever had. Excellent sake selection, and the sweetest, most thoughtful service. A must-visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Hidden gem”
We were recommended this upstairs restaurant and were not disappointed. The avocado tempura was a great find along with the wagu rice bowl…so good we ordered a second!

“Great Kyoto restaurant with creative array of cuisine and drink. ”
It is a solid place for a creative take on local cuisine. Just a bit pricey for what is offered. Staff was attentive and extremely helpful with the selections.

I’ve been here already more than once. And if there is a wandering on where to go this is for sure a choice!!! Staff is so helpful and nice!!!
