“Great Kyoto restaurant with creative array of cuisine and drink. ”
It is a solid place for a creative take on local cuisine. Just a bit pricey for what is offered. Staff was attentive and extremely helpful with the selections.

“Wagyu to remember!”
Dined here three nights while on our recent family holiday in Kyoto, Japan the service, atmosphere and the food was all superb!

“Great find”
Just near our hotel and our regret is we didn’t find it earlier. Really nice food and an English menu. Wagu tempura wonderful as was the special of beef in BBQ sauce. Totally recommended

“Great find!”
We stumbled on the Apollo Plus while in Kyoto. It was purely by chance that we went in and wow we really enjoyed it. Typically Japanese and gave the vibe that it was a popular drop in spot for the locals. The food was incredible and you can actually sit at the bar and watch it all being prepared.... They also have a good drinks menu with a lot of offerings for great Saki. Being a vegetarian in Japan can sometimes be hard by in Kyoto there is definitely more options. This place had such a cool vibe and the staff were eager to make sure your night went well. The food was beautiful prepared with care and skill, the tastes were insane! Definitely worth a try.
