Previous to above photos they featured a big plate of yummy assorted sashimi which persuaded us to try eating at this place. Sad to say the sashimi offered was an assortment of 3 tiny slices(like short french fries) each of salmon, tuna, fatty tuna and mackerel. The tempura 5 pieces, ramen wherein t...he noodles were like boiled spaghetti. We (4people) spent ¥13,500 and had to look for another place to eat because it wasn’t filling. As I see their page now, it’s a good thing they took out the previous photos because they were definitely.

In a touristy place like Nara I wasn't expecting great food and service at a great price but that's what I got. I ordered a sashimi set-menu. It came with a miso soup, tofu dish and a little fish of veg. Loads of wasabi. The sashimi had prawns, tuna, salmon, yellow fin, salmon roe and squid. It was... a lunchtime dish and at a price of ¥950, I thought it was excellent value. I'd love to go back but I expect it will be quite some time!

Typical restaurant with very typical Japanese environment. Food is simple, tasty and convenient! Suggested for a quick break and a good, even if non-fancy,lunch!

Very nice restaurant to look at , it seemed genuine in a very touristy area and we decided to go in as it was raining and it was close to our hotel. Nice decor, fairly good service, but tiny portions of food even by Japanese standards, we ordered steak and got a few small bits, the chicken dish c...ontained less than 50 gr of chicken and the other dishes were on same level. Expensive for what it offers, we left hungry.

Tried this Japanese style pub. Nice setting; decent service. Good food, fresh sashimi, nice grilled chicken; also tried the salad with local vegetables. A bit pricey but overall a pretty good gastronomic experience.
