“Unbelievable value for money”
We had a lunch menu for 2800 yens for two. You'll get quality food with extremely friendly staff. They don't have an English menu but good pictures helping you make your decision. The staff English is very limited but they will help with a huge smile. If you're in Nara around lunch time, I can't re...commend this place enough! If you're used to big city pricing, you won't believe what you get for 1500 yens person!

“Cozy cafe”
A nice, cozy cafe. To my surprise, they had excellent Belgian beer. We tried coffee and cake, which was very good. The service was excellent, despite the fact that the staff didn't understand English, but a Western tourist quickly gets used to that in Japan.

“Quick bite before the train.”
Nice new cafe restaurant, with a set menu that is a great deal. Fast and friendly service, and the food was great too. A good choice and very convibient to end a morning visit to Nara from either Osaka or Kyoto (picture is the dessert from this set menu, only 1280 yen)
