“Delicious food near Kyoto station”
We enjoyed a special course meal (kaiseki style). There were lots of delicious portions of food at a reasonable price, staff was super polite and helpful, service was excellent and efficient and we loved the atmosphere.

“Dinner with friends!”
Early evening dining. A wonderful experience. The staff here were lovely, friendly and attentive. The menu and ordering by tablet was a godsend. Will definitely be going back.

“Loved it”
Really loved this place. We went there a couple of times during our stay in Kyoto. The service was great and the food was delicious and authentic. If you are ever in Kyoto it's a great place to eat and only a couple of minutes from Kyoto station.

“Delicious”
The service was exceptional, and they had an English menu on a tablet which made ordering easy. The food came quickly and was incredible. Easily the best food we have had in Kyoto. The price was also very reasonable. We wish we were staying here longer so we could go again.

“Big bustling izakaya with very good food”
This restaurant is one floor down from the street. You summon a waiter with a push button on the table. Huge menu of Japanese dishes. They have an English menu too. My favourite dish is the Korean (very) hot bowl with beef, rice and egg. Everything we ordered here was good. We came here in 2012 and ...happy to report it hasn't changed at all.
