Founded in 1888, this long-established Japanese restaurant is located in the famous Matsuo-taisha Shrine in Arashiyama, Kyoto. Our specialty is Mizutaki which is chicken hot pot based with original chicken bone soup. Enjoy the seasonal Japanese garden and the famous chicken dishes.
Enjoy seasonal flavors through Tofu dishes specific to Kyoto and seasonal Kaiseki (Traditional Multi-Course Meal) in our restaurant which mainly offers chicken dishes, including the local specialty – Mizutaki (chicken cooked with vegetables in a hot pot) and Chicken Sukiyaki. On request, we can also offer dishes which aren't on the menu, such as meals following religious restrictions and vegetarian / vegan dishes. Tables seats allowing you to stretch your legs are available; we accept various credit cards and Wi-Fi is available, so you can feel reassured coming to our restaurant.
