“Fluffy and Fun”
We arrived around 4 PM and waited about 15 minutes – not too bad. I had the tiramisu pancakes, which were super fluffy and light. Tasty, but not exceptional in my opinion. Still, a fun experience and the staff were very friendly.

My partner and I arrived at 10:50am and waited 45 mins from opening to be let in and I wouldn’t say it’s worth the wait, the pancakes were nice however I expected something more wow factor after all the hype. Would I go back to have again, probably not.

“Exceptional Pancakes!”
This place is a MANDATORY establishment to try while in Kyoto! Do not go there hungry as the lines will only make you hungrier or angry. Go there on a relaxed day after your meal. Your palate will thank you! The pancakes are a feast for the palate!!!! Don't let the portion sizes fool you -- you ...will inhale the 3 pieces immediately -- they are THAT GOOD!!!

“Delicious pancakes!”
Absolutely delicious pancakes! We went at around 4pm so it wasn’t busy or there wasn’t any issues with service or wait times as I previously read. We really enjoyed ours and would recommend going if you want to try the traditional Japanese style pancakes.
