It was recommended by my Japanese friend. The speciality is the grill/oven was specially designed and built by the chef/owner to bring out the best of the beef. When we made reservation, they made it clear that there is no English-speaking staff and we need to decide on a set menu. My friend spea...ks Japanese and it was fine. The set contained various courses with beef and vegetables. Main course is grilled beef in the special oven. We could choose from the various selected beef from different famous provinces of Japan. Its difficult as all looked good. Luckily, we were allowed to choose three and we were happy. We sat at the counter and we can see the chef focused on cooking the beef to perfection at the grill. Overall, food was very good except that it was a bit more salty to our liking. I have low lactose tolerance and we have informed the restaurant before hand. I was served gelato as dessert while it was stated as sorbet in my menu. The chef, while cooking at the grill, saw it and told the waiter that I should not be given gelato. His attention to details is impressive and appreciated.
