Great set menu to try all Kyoto flavours. Cool original and local style inside. Nice friendly atmosphere from staff and guests are enjoying themselves. Recommend.

This spot has great kyoto traditional set. The food is so good, my favorite was the sashimi, tempura and the yuba. The set is pretty enough and filling. Great service and great presentation

This restaurant is the best place in Kyoto to enjoy sushi and Japanese cuisine. I live in Kyoto and have been to many restaurants, but I don't know any restaurants that are as good or as reasonably priced as this one. If you are a traveler to Japan and want to enjoy good sushi and Japanese food, thi...s is the best place to go. Originally, sushi was only available in cities by the sea because freshness was the key to good taste. However, with the recent development of transportation and technology, delicious sushi is now available even in Kyoto, a city far from the sea. However, only a few restaurants are able to serve delicious sushi because of the cost of transportation and technology.Please enjoy truly delicious sushi and Japanese cuisine at this restaurant, Hitoshio. It also has a wide variety of delicious sake to go with the sushi. Don't miss the chance to visit such a delicious restaurant! The owner, Hitoshi, is a very nice guy and I have always good time here:)

The place is so comfortable and they are very nice and friendly. They even provide halal ingredients for us! Definitely will recommend this to other muslim friends who are looking for the place to have sushi making experience. :)

Its a definitely must go place in Kyoto. Hitoshio is very friendly and helpful. Although we’re Muslims, he prepared all the Halal ingredients. Himi, his daughter is also very nice and friendly. Will definitely go again!👍🏻
