Kyotogyukaiseki Inayoshi

We had an amazing meal! We were warmly welcomed and were delighted to be sitting traditionally - but comfortably in the "Digs" as the booking system said. Making the reservation required a lot of help form our hotel but we got there. The menu was in English and the staff did their best with Engl...ish which we appreciated . There were really nice wine options and the food was varied; interesting and tasty. This is not a cheap night out but one that was well worth it.

In Kyoto for a long weekend and we decided to drop by for lunch. As always the food and service was excellent! Although the restaurant was a little busy the tables are well separated so we could maintain social distance. I’m looking forward to the next time!

We made a reservation here for a Near-Christmas dinner and it was absolutely delicious. A bit on the pricy side for just a regular drop-in but if you're looking for great food and are having a special occasion this place is one of the best in Kyoto. The course menu has a great variety which is all... prepared to perfection. From the beginning to the end, everything flowed prefectly. However I do recommend the beef curry at the end if you enjoy a bit of spice. It is perfect before enjoying your desert!

Really an elegant service. Creative presentation with a rainbow of tastes delivered by very well-trained wait staff. Very enjoyable. Tried the local Kyoto wines. As a red wine guy, our selection was medium bodied at best (and should not be served cold ... this was the only mistake during the meal.).... I hope to return to Inayoshi.
