“An authentic excellent Japanese meal but pretty overpriced”
The Kinjoro Main Restaurant located inside the five-star Kinjoro hotel in Kanazawa serves traditional Japanese Kaiseki while preserving the best taste as possible from experienced chefs. The food was very delicate-looking and tasted really good, as the ingredients used were fresh-from-the-market and... tenderous. The service was very attentive and treated us very politely, with a bow at the end of the meal to greet us "goodbye", which most Japanese people do so (which shows their politeness towards foreign travellers). We had our family dinner in a spacious room, with views to the Kinjoro garden and a mini changing room and preparation area for the workers. Therefore, it gave us extraordinary spaces for the kids to play/ walk around and relaxation. The price was really expensive and quite unreasonable. But generally the entire meal was excellently done and each person in the restaurant have done their best of their ability to greet us with fresh foods, polite services and lovely environment around the hotel.

“Boring, overpriced food. Beautiful restaurant.”
We had dinner at Kinjoro and it was an overpriced, boring, and extremely disappointing meal. The food was tepid, flavorless, and well over $150 per person. They clearly have a skimpy, bland set menu that they trot out for foreigners. Don't go here for dinner!
