“Yummy food and unique experience!”

We came here on a trip to Japan, passing through Kanazawa. The concept around many of their dishes is around dashi. What I found most interesting about it is noticing the changes in flavour when it comes together with the other ingredients. Also. The matcha ice cream that comes with the 抹茶あんみつ is ...literally amazing.

“Thoughtful, Artful, Chic!”
Barrier was an amazing experience—and truly, that’s the only way I can describe it! From the atmosphere and seating arrangement to the presentation of each dish, everything was curated with such thoughtfulness and artistry. We had a vegan in our group, and the Barrier team accommodated her impeccabl...y without compromising the experience. Daisuke was an attentive, kind, and spectacular server. He took the time to thoughtfully walk us through each dish and explain what we were eating, which made the experience feel even more special. I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in Kanazawa!

Family trip to Japan — we tried Barrier while in Kanazawa. We have had great food while here, but Barrier was incredible.
