“Such a traditional Yamagata experience!”

Fantastic place to eat. All of the food was really good and the whole experience, from climbing through the tiny door to the moment we left was brilliant. In the middle of eating our stew we were handed a "straw hat" which is used for a dance. The Hanegasa dance (or flower hat dance) is performed i...n the street in the summer. Two of the waitresses led the dance which diners would copy. Fun! The service was great and I would love to visit again.
