“Anago”
The restaurant has lovely setting just off Hondori. We had a prvate room and ordered a variety of dishes included the speciality of the restaurant Anago Meshi (conger eel on a bed of rice) but also firefly squid etc. Really lovely dinner but you will need to be able to speak japanese or be accompani...ed by a japanese speakers as they do not have any english menu

“Anago”
I like their food, but not their seat. We got a table in the sharing room. After sitting for a while I felt back pain. I’m not used to this seat type. Good atmosphere, Good service, Good food, especially Anago. Uncomfortable seat, (for me).

“Great value and charming location”
Incredible food and an incredible setting we had our own private dining room complete with fire pit. Try the Eel!

“Calming atmosphere.”
We booked as a group of 10 and were seated in a private room upstairs. The service was fast. The eel was well prepared.

“Great for eel!”
I visited here on a rainy afternoon. I only stumbled on it as I noticed a family disappear up this quaint alley and decided to check out the menu. Really lovely spot with delicious reasonably priced food. You can ask for an English menu. Glad to try eel, and it was delicious!
