Kakiya

Amazing oysters of all kinds. We especially loved the fried oysters and au gratin style. So delicious and fresh. We ate here twice and would go back again. We highly recommend this place.

went for late lunch after hiking up the mountain. there was no queue. the oyster set was nice as i love oysters. think overall its slightly on the pricier side but it's a very good experience. service was good and friendly.

Oysters. Oysters. And oysters Large , succulent, fresh, well prepared and at a great value price. Short drinks menu but with the right things on it. An excellent surprise venue for lunch.

Not far from the famous Itsukushima Shrine Torii, you can find this great place services oysters! You can see it in the name, "Kaki" means oyster, "ya" means house, so this is literally the house of oyster for people wants oysters to go to :) They serve different kind of oyster cuisines, you can ha...ve them as Sashimi, deep fried, charcoal grilled, steamed, you name it, but what I would recommend is to order the "Kakiya-set". When you order, you need to pronounce it as "Kakiyasetto" so the staff would understand... It's not on the regular menu, and it's a assorted set so you can enjoy various oyster dishes in one go for around 2000 yen!

went here after reading some reviews and I need to try the oysters in Miyajima Island and it is said that they have a good oysters for lunch... I try the set menu which consist of fried oysters (I really like fried oysters), grilled oysters, oysters soup and last is fried rice oysters? I don't know ...the name but this dish have seasoned oysters and rice... this rice is not really good, maybe because its cold? but other oysters is delicious...
