“OKONOMIYAKI, HIROSHIMA'S MOST FAMOUS FOOD”
FIRST TRIP TO HIROSHIMA WITH MY HUSBAND. OUR DAUGHTER FLEW IN FROM NEW ORLEANS AND SHE FOUND THE WONDERFUL OKONOMIMURA TAKENOKO WHERE WE ENJOYED WATCHING THE PREPARATION AND COOKING OF A DELICIOUS OKONOMIYAKI MEAL. FRIENDLY CASUAL ATMOSPHERE. I WISH WE HAD A PLACE LIKE THAT IN AUSTRALIA.

“Went back twice for the yummy oysters!”
Stayed 2 nights at a nearby hotel, and loved a restaurant (can’t read Japanese so see photos please ) on the 3/F of Okonomimura, which were operated by a group of ladies in red uniforms . We are oyster-lovers, and ordered all sorts of oysters cooked in different styles on the menu including those co...oked in butter, in sake, on Hiroshima’s pizza. All of them were in right size and tasted juicy and delicious! Their Hiroshima’s pizza, scallops and fried pork dumplings were yummy too! Most important of all, the price of the dishes were reasonable and affordable! That’s why our comeback decision is so quick and unanimous! Hope to be back again! 😋😋

“Must eat in Hiroshima!!”
This is a 3 floor building full of restaurants serving the same kind of food: okonomimura. The food is Delicious and the plece has this old school/ ghetto street food vibe. It's cheap and tasty and you get to eat as a local, with locals and learning how to make it! Everything is cooked in front of y...ou. Amazing experience!

“The Best!”
I love this place! The best Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima! I went 2 years ago with the family and the guy remembered me when I went with friends again. Great food. Great service. It has become our favourite restaurant in Japan!
