It took us a while to find this place from the Sannomiya train station. We were lucky to get seats during lunchtime without a reservation. Although we had to vacate our table by a certain time, there was ample time for our meal and service was fast. We took the best grade beef and it literally melte...d in the mouth. The chef serving us was very friendly and explained to us the various condiments. And last but not least, coffee was surprisingly very good.

So I visited the restaurant with my boyfriend for our anniversary because we want something special for our special day because why not right? Okay, so we didn't reserved a table but still we were able to get a table for two (Lunch time) We ordered the Kobe Beef Lunch at 8,800 yen per person and it... was worth it. The beef..oh.. it just melts into your mouth and even though the serving is small , trust me your stomach will be full . And the one serving us was Chef Masatoshi Morishita . He was so friendly, kind,entertaining and speaks a little english. He even surprised us with a desert for our anniversary and it was awesome. I will totally recommend this if you happen to pass by Kobe or if you want a good kobe beef.👍👌

QUICKIE REVIEW Get your Kobe steak here! Like not even joking, try it here. Eating Kobe beef in Kobe, it just makes sense. English menu is available. FOOD This is what I tried: -Kobe Beef Lunch Special (this is a multicourse meal) This was my first Kobe beef experience and wow, standard has been... set high. All the other items are good that comes with this meal but you are here for one reason, Kobe beef. Tender, fatty, soft, juicy and delicious. That is what you can expect when you try it. I had my meat cooked to medium done and it was perfect for me. I had it both by itself (no seasoning) and with a dash of salt and pepper. You really cannot go wrong either way. I highly recommend the lunch special as you will be well fed when it is all said and done. Enjoy! PARKING You are in Kobe, do not kid yourself. You know better than to drive. SERVICE PRICE $78 and you get a course meal for lunch. As for dinner, I took a gander at the prices...yea, about that... TIP/OTHER THOUGHTS Whenever they cook something for you and serve you ask which sauce/spice you are to use. They give good recommendations on what sauce/spice is best for that item (you will have a few in front you). If you want to have a cheaper lunch experience, they do have other combos on the menu. I just opted to splurge a little and get their best item. Worth it. Nevertheless, I think lunch time is the perfect time to go. Talking with the chef, she said it gets crowded on the weekend but weekdays are ideal if you do not have reservations (I did not and was able to be seated immediately).

Booked a lunch visit from their website and paid upfront. Shared a select kobe beef lunch set and a kobe beef lunch set with my wife - wanted to see if we could gauge the difference in quality and indeed the select kobe beef was slightly better than the kobe beef. While the beef was indeed much bett...er than the normal beef that you would get, it fell way short of our expectations, especially given that we are in Kobe! I've had much better wagyu beef (with better melt-in-the-mouth experience) in Tokyo at a much cheaper price. Spent approx 25k yen for 2 pax and it certainly wasn't worth it imho.

Truly an authentic experience, The food is of high qualityCalmerThe proportion is just right,To the high-fat content of the Kobe beef,They did not serve anything else to distract your taste buds from enjoying the beef and beef alone. For those who are not familiar with Ishida, it is when your food ...is cooked right in front of you on a hot plate. The chef, unlike what was presented in movies and other media, will not prefer tricks with their food. But that being said, watching your beef getting cooked is also a performance on its own. The location was easy to get to, just a short walk thru the subway underground system. The restaurant chain had a few restaurants around Kobe, so ensure you reserve your appointments ahead of time.
