Dandan noodles are offered in two styles: with soup and without. The “soup dandan noodles” follow the original recipe of the main restaurant, Kanda Yunlin, while the “soupless dandan noodles” are prepared in the authentic Chengdu style.
【About Yunlinbo】
Yunlinbo is a specialty restaurant dedicated to dandan noodles and Chen-style mapo tofu. The noodles are made with whole wheat flour, just like at the main restaurant, and the soup is slowly simmered using old hen, Hokkaido scallops, and dried scallops to develop deep flavor. We are committed to house-made chili oil and seasonings, and for our mapo tofu, we blend three types of doubanjiang to create a rich aroma and complex, layered taste.
