“Friendly izakaya, helpful staff, no tourists.”
We were looking for a non-tourist restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Found it! They didn't advertise an English menu our front, but they did have a basic one. They came outside to welcome us in. We went on a Friday night, and lots of groups of Japaneses business folk came in - definately ...seemed to be the new hot spot. The owner was really helpful and asked us what we did or did not want and made some great recommendations. We had some delicious sashimi and yakatori. Tried a few different sake. Staff behind the counter very friendly, fun and skilled focussed on delivering quality food. We had a great night.
