“Good supper”
We had dinner there one evening. Very nice food. Friendly service. It was busy but the service was good and pretty quick. very impressive. Worth dropping in should you be passing.

“More for salary men ”
Usually full of salary men drinking lots of beer and sake and eating nibbles but tonight was fairly empty so we tried it. I had soba noodles with duck in a broth quite tasty and my wife had mixed tempura which was ok but a bit heavy on the batter. With one beer and tax came to ¥3322 about £25 which ...was ok.

“Enjoyed the meal”
We walked within the Caretta Shopping complex looking for a place to eat. As there was lots of choice it was difficult to decide. We chose Kotoan because it advertised an English menu being available. It was a Sunday night and as you might expect was quiet. Kotoan seems to be broken into the smoki...ng restaurant and non smoking restaurant. They sit opposite each other and we sat on the non smoking side with no issues of cigarette smell wafting across.😀 Although the menu offered was in English the waitress didn’t have too much experience with the language but we still were able to communicate and our food was all delivered as ordered. The food was very good. We had edamame, sushimi, grilled fish, karage chicken and tempura. The tempura and sushimi were a standout! Prices were very reasonable.
