“trying out soba meal @ダシとソバ水車”
We had a meal here on a weekday dinner time, after going through the list of F&B establishments so abundance in the Hiroshima sta.. It is a soba set restaurant with a casual setting, it was after 7pm and there are vacant for the 4 of us. The Menu screamed of Soba meal with delicious dashi (Japanese... soup stock), which is handmade. A point to note that not many restaurants provide the (healthy) dashi anymore! And frankly it has been years since I tasted I that provide. There are the Setouchi Lemon Soba, Oyster Soba, crispy Tenzaru Soba, Tempura, even grilled fish and more. The Soba Set Meal comes with a side dish of the day making it an enticing choice! . We were told that the menu is carefully prepared to showcase the freshest ingredients of the region. The portion is good, not too little and I find the dip a little light for my palate. Still we all have an enjoyable dinner after a hectic door (juz flew 7 hours in the morning..) The tab was a tad higher than other restaurants, but the flavorful meal should justify it. So whether you're a soba enthusiast (like myself!) or simply looking to experience authentic Japanese cuisine this spot is recommended.

“Super convenient location in train station”
After a full day exploring Miyajima and the surrounding area, this place filled our bellies with the best soba we had on our trip. Cold soba set meals were very reasonably priced for great value and taste was unrivaled.

Restaurant had a good selection of food, which were served very quickly. The staff (as with most Japanese servers) were very pleasing, and always served with a smile.

“Perfection on a plate ”
This place is amazing . Located among a large amount of restaurants in Hiroshima station. I was on the hunt for soba and boy was I not disappointed . I got soba noodles with tempura and my husband got the soba noodles with curry , both which were amazing . The only thing I will say is that I wanted ...more 😁😁😁 . Thank you for cooking the best meal I have had yet in japan
