Was craving for a bowl of delicious eel rice and I was simply wandering around determine to find a restaurant which served eel rice but to my surprise, I spent almost 2 hours walking and none to be found around Naka Ward. As I was almost giving up my hunt because I was really hungry and A Lunar Mont...h appeared! The restaurant seems quaint but I didn't judged too soon or must I say, I was desperate to dig into a bowl of eel rice! I was greeted by an old lady with a wide smile and of course she doesn't speak English. I was ushered to a private dinning room which was equipped with a flat screen tv (only Japanese channel) There's no English menu but there's picture, so I made my order based on pictures and my set meal comes with rice, eel fillet, miso soup, pickled vegetables and a cup of hot green tea at Yen1,500 (USD13) A Lunar Month Restaurant is a place which specialized in Eel dishes and if you are looking for a delicious Eel Meal, this is a place you must visit.
