“Very Traditional Fugu”
We wanted to eat Fugu "once in a life time" and booked Izumi on voyagin. It is very very traditional restaurant with dining in a private room. Fugu itself is a winterfish (we learned). We did not really find out why they serve fugu off-season (maybe there is summer fugu, too? Or frozen.) We had the ...Keiseki course with different fugu dishes including fugu sashimi. Some courses were very special - almost too special for my taste. We really got what we were looking for: a very very traditional japanese food experience. But I'm not sure if I would go for (very) expensive Fugu again.
