“Delicious but beware of surcharges”
The food was delicious and they had us in a private room which was good as we had young, loud children. However there are significant surcharges (which they informed us beforehand but we were too hungry to find a different place by the time). Basically, they charged each person - 650y for appetiser... (tiny), 300yen for seating few, 7% service charge (wasn't that great service. Staff were nice but cups were not refilled and dishes not cleared), 8% tax on top of everything. We went for the ishikari nabe which was delicious

“Overpriced and bland”
Avoid as possible. The food tasted very mediocre but the price is comparable to a high-end restaurant's. We ordered ise lobster (~$120 for two tiny ones), which tasted ok. After the sashimi, the server asked whether we would like to make the lobster heads into miso soup, but she never told us that i...t would incur extra costs. For fish shabu shabu, we were never told that the price was per person. 4 pieces of fish costs $45 per person. The whole dining experience was horrible and we strongly suggest not come to this place. In the end, we paid ~$370 for two people.
