“OKONOMIYaki AS YOU LIKE IT”
I went in and the wanted me to be traditional, was not happening since once I sit on the floor it takes several people to get me back up. They understood when I told them my age, Once sat at a traditional Okonomiyaki set up the turn on the grill in front of you, when my okonomiyaki came and was pl...aced on the grill it was done as I asked Hiroshima style. Close to the Kyoto Station and if you have the urge this is your place - authentic.

“Okonomiyaki in Kyoto”
A good place to take your family and for them to experience the Kyoto okonomiyaki cooking style at the table. Very friendly service and good value.

“Great experience, delicious food”
Wonderful, no-frills Kyoto eatery. Very kind and helpful staff. English menu available. Everything we ordered was delicious and fun to eat from the griddle in the table. Great ambiance, lots of locals and tourists alike. Wonderful introduction to this cuisine, and great prices!

“Delicious, satisfying and fun. Must try okonomiyaki”
Tried this restaurant as we passed by and didnt expect to enjoy ourselves so much. After the meal then we realised its one of japan's famous 'cuisines' Staff were really friendly and could speak some english. Food was great and not expensive. Luckily we ordered the okonomiyaki without knowing it ...cos theres lots of other selections like we ordered the omelette and beef steak. (We actually came in because of the steak). The 'pancake' was so good. Crispy and tasty. Beef steak was good too. We came back the second day but it was full since it was the weekend. Sad. The restaurant is near the kyoto station where we stayed. Tables are booth style with a teppanyaki grill each. There are also japanese style tables where you need to take off shoes. Definitely worth a visit (or two) if youre nearby.

“The best okonomiyaki ever”
My wife and me came to this restaurant to taste an okonomiyaki experience and ee enjoyed a lot. They prepare your meal and bring you at a fire table to keep it warm. You have to mix all and serve at the dishes. Eat with a wooden sticks is a real satisfaction experience. The service are quite good,... they speak English and as well they bring you an English menu to be more confident. Very nice preparation and presentation at table, very good taste of meal and right prizes (almost 800¥ each without drink, water is free on all Japan). We feel sorry about we have to visit another city and never returned, but we enjoyed to much and think it's hardly recommend. Arigato gozaima!
