A Remarkable experience to discover this high-end Japanese restaurant (one star in the Michelin guide): Refined dishes with various flavours served by the two very friendly and skilled owners.

“Kaiseki (Japanese Traditional cuisine ) with BEEF”
About five minutes walk from SHIJO KAWARAMACHI. Tonight was the second visit to this restaurant, and so satisfied with the course as well as last time. No menu, but just one course. once you sit down in front of the chef, you only eat the dishes chef cooks and serve to you as a Japanese, I do not ...think Kaiseki with beef is very traditional because beef is available any time. However the Chef enable us to feel and enjoy " Spring" in every dish. Yes, i enjoyed and ate "Spring" tonight. Great!! I believe he can do the same all through the year. Strongly Recommendable. it is run by chef and the lady. She can speak English well and explain what the dish is and how it is cooked.

“Amazing Food Experience”
This is one of the best meals during our stay in Japan. A reservation is a must in this family-runned restaurant with about 15 seats. The lunch menu is set with 7-8 course with innovative flavours, combinations and presentations. A bit difficult to find hidden behind a discrete entrance allow at le...ast 90 minutes to fully enjoy a lunch of very good value!
